luminis was established in April 2002. At a time in which technology was employed almost entirely as a means to increase efficiency, six entrepreneurs saw greater opportunities. Software and new technologies in the area of innovation and new services can make the difference for the customer.

From the start, luminis has made its case for its own freedom and the ability to make its own rules. This approach resulted in one of the most freethinking, innovative companies in the area of software. This manner of thinking was firmly rooted not only in the founders, but in every new employee.
